As you're shopping for your own children this back-to-school season, would you consider picking up a few extra school supplies for the Foster Closet?

Every backpack, notebook, and box of crayons helps a foster child start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and cared for.

If this will be your first time utilizing the Foster Closet, please be prepared to provide documentation showing that you are a foster or kinship caregiver. Documentation is required for all first-time families.

❤️ The smallest items often make the biggest difference.

New socks and underwear are some of the most requested items at the Back to School Bash —and some of the items we run out of the fastest at the closet.

Having new socks and underwear provides not only a basic necessity but also comfort, dignity, and confidence. That's how we want these kiddos to start their new school year.

If you would like to help, we are currently collecting new socks and underwear in all sizes for children and teens.

Every pair makes a difference. If you can help, please reach out!

🎒✏️ School Supply Drive Alert! ✏️🎒

As you're shopping for your own children and checking off those back-to-school lists, would you consider picking up a few extra items for the foster children we serve?

Many of the children who come through the Foster Closet start school without the basic supplies they need. A few extra notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, glue sticks, or even a backpack can make a huge difference in helping a child feel prepared and confident on their first day.

We are currently in need of:
🎒 Backpacks
📓 Notebooks
✏️ Pencils
🖍️ Crayons & Markers
📁 Folders
✂️ Scissors
🧴 Glue Sticks
📏 Other school supplies

Every donation, big or small, helps us ensure foster children in our community head back to school with the tools they need to succeed.

Each registered FOSTER child will have the opportunity to receive:

I had a great time with the Philanthropic Educational Organization ladies. They asked me to speak no more than 30 minutes and I said I'll only be up there like 10 minutes...23 minutes later I stepped away from the mic.
The foster closet is more than just giving clothes. It's filing a gap, it's making kids feel proud and worthy, it's creating some fun memories, it's being a little extra!
I just want everyone to know how much we love being able to support the children experiencing foster care and the families stepping in when they are needed.

These ladies did a great job donating items for the back to school bash! Thank you PEO
