How is Mustard Seed Ranch supported?

The simple answer is community.

God has continually provided for the Ranch through people who choose to come alongside this mission. Some give financially. Some volunteer their time. Some provide resources or experiences. Some faithfully pray for our children, houseparents, staff, and homes.

Every person plays a different part, but together, those acts of generosity help create the consistency and care our children experience each day.

We never want to overlook the many hands God uses to provide.

To every person, church, business, volunteer, and friend who has chosen to be part of the Mustard Seed Ranch community, thank you for faithfully showing up.

A blanket under the stars, a sidewalk full of chalk, and a close look at the wonders God created. We’ve been enjoying the little moments together here at the ranch, with plenty of creativity and time spent learning about our Seven Roots.

Over time, ordinary moments like these help children feel known. Someone listens to their questions, celebrates what they made, and reminds them they are deeply loved by God. Those small, steady reminders help belonging take root.

We’re grateful for the memories we’re making and the joy of watching our kids discover, create, and grow.

Hope wrote to anyone who has ever wondered if they are hard to love. If that question has lived in your heart, we hope you will take a moment to read her words.

A riding lesson can teach so much more than how to sit in a saddle.

It asks a child to slow down, pay attention, and build trust one small step at a time. Some days, courage looks like getting on the horse. Other days, it looks like trying again after something felt hard.

We are grateful for moments like these at the ranch, where children can discover that growth takes patience, trust grows with care, and God is with them through every new step.

Faith is not something we simply talk about at Mustard Seed Ranch. It is something we want to live out together.

You will find it in prayers around the table, conversations after a hard day, choosing forgiveness, serving one another, celebrating answered prayers, and trusting God when we do not know what comes next.

Some of the most meaningful opportunities to point our children toward Jesus happen in completely ordinary moments.

Our prayer is that as our children grow, the truths they experience here continue to take root. That they know they are deeply loved by God, created with purpose, and never walking alone.

Day by day, we trust God with the growing.

Finding arrowheads, making mud pies, and carving pumpkins together have been a sweet start to fall here at the ranch. Now we’re waiting a little impatiently for the leaves to turn and more cool nights around the fire.

These little moments matter. When someone stops to admire a muddy creation, shares in the excitement of a discovery, or saves a seat beside them, a child gets another reminder that they matter and belong. Over time, that steady love helps shape how they see themselves and the world around them.

We’re grateful God gives us ordinary days to build something lasting together.

The God who made all of this cares about you.

Here at the ranch, His creation gives us so many reasons to pause in wonder. But the sweetest reminder is that the same God who cares for the flowers knows every child by name.

Our prayer is that, through everyday love and care, each child begins to believe it for themselves: “He cares about me, too.”
