Goober is about 1 year old, 40 pounds, and fully lives up to his name! This Retriever/Shepherd mix (our best guess!) is full of love, energy, and absolutely zero grace. He’ll keep you laughing with his goofy antics and make sure life is never boring!

Goober is a happy, social guy who loves EVERYONE, especially other dogs! His foster home is basically 24/7 play time. He also loves toys, people, and even gets along with cats! He’s been observed around chickens and horses, too. He may be a little reserved with men at first, but give him a day or so and he’ll be your buddy.

After being neglected in his previous home, Goober is ready for a family who will show him just how great life can be. ❤️ He’s eager to please, crate trained, nearly house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He’ll need some help polishing his manners, especially when it comes to trying to bolt through an open door. This goofy boy has places to go and fun to have, apparently!

Goober would thrive in an active home that’s ready to keep his mind and body busy and continue working on training. A playful dog sibling would be a HUGE bonus, but it’s not a must if his people can keep him entertained. He’s currently taking skin and coat chews to help with dandruff and itchy skin.

Goober can go to his forever home starting October 20! He’s scheduled to be neutered on November 11 and is ready to find the people who will love his silly self forever!

From his owner, they are trying to rehome him due to a change in living situation:

Arlo is a super sweet boy. He looks like a cane corso, but I was told he is mixed with great same. I believe he is between 3 or 4 years old. He follows me from room to room, he's goofy, and playful. When I first brought him home he was very food aggressive, as he was very thin and not being fed regularly. He was food aggressive with other dogs, but never with humans, although he would gently sn**ch a sandwich from my 8 year old's hands if given the opportunity. I have worked with him a great deal and he has come very far. I still feed him and the other two dogs separately, but I can give treats together and he is respectful and has stopped stealing food... for the most part. I have never seen a dog get so excited at meal time! It's so funny and cute!!!!

He prefers women. He will growl and bark at men, but gets used to them and then will love on them too! He adores my husband now, my father, and father-in-law. He does not like men in baseball caps, but again, once he gets used to you, he is ok.

He loves kids and is very sweet with them. But rough play around him is triggering. For example, wrestling or tickling my kids makes him feel like they are in danger. I've had two instances of him nipping me trying to "protect" them. He had never broken skin and only uses his front teeth. A small bruise at best. He has never used his whole mouth to bite. He nips and runs away. This has gotten much better as well. He really just needs more time, consistency, and training, and I think he would be the perfect pup.

He gets along very well with my other two dogs 98% of the time. They have had a few scrapings, mostly over food, once over a ball, but that was when we first brought him home. Once they established their pecking order, we haven't had any trouble.

Recently a dog came into our yard and he went after the strange dog, but we yelled for him to come back and he listened.

I've seen him chase groundhogs and birds. I am not sure how he would do with cats. He has been "cat tested" and didn't show them any attention, but that was when I first rescued him and he was afraid of everything then.

He is housebroken. Although when I leave for a weekend and he stays at my in-laws, he hides and will mess in the house. Recently he had been staying in our home with neighbors who let him out and play with several times a day but the stress of our family not being there, he has started to use per pads in the home. I think he would just need time to get comfortable with his new owners and would be fine.

He sits, stays, gives paw, comes, lays down, leave it, and knows "off." He is a very good listener!!!!

He has untreated Lyme disease but it doesn't seem to effect him, and he is neutered.

He is a gentle guy with a sweet heart!!! I hate to rehome him, but we are traveling for work and unable to take him, with his reactivity, I just didn't trust him around my children and strangers yet.

Sweet little Latte is the last of the Coffee Crew looking for her family! This adorable 9 week old puppy has all the puppy goodness in a tiny package. Her mama Grace is patiently waiting for her turn to be adopted too! She’s 4 years old, about 9 lbs and a very affectionate cuddle bug. She will happily tote around her tiny toys and jump into your lap for snuggs.

2 husky pups, found stray in Ronco, PA. We suspect they were dumped but posting for 48 hour stray hold. Proof of ownership and rabies required to reclaim.
