As we kick off summer in Cabarrus County, we're looking back and celebrating some big milestones!

Congratulations to our High School Bigs seniors as they begin their next chapter, and to our 5th graders at Forest Park and Coltrane-Webb Elementary Schools as they prepare for middle school. We are so proud of all you've accomplished and can't wait to see what the future holds for each of you! 💚

For 7.5 years, Big Brent and Little Aiden have built a friendship rooted in trust, consistency, and shared experiences.

When asked about his most memorable moment, Brent shared, “Meeting Aiden and now getting ready to watch him graduate high school.”

Their relationship has grown naturally over the years through simple moments and fun experiences. Looking back, Brent describes being matched as life changing, both for himself and hopefully for Aiden.

We would like to share a special THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the 2026 Pull for Kids Charity Tournament benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas, Cabarrus County. 💚

Because of the incredible support from attendees, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and Vulcan Materials Company, nearly $85,000 was raised to help create life-changing mentorship opportunities for local youth.

These students give their time each week to show up for their Littles, build meaningful friendships, and make a difference in their lives. We are so thankful for their commitment, leadership, and dedication throughout the school year.

10 years ago, Gabby was an 8 year old Little Sister. Now, she’s graduating and heading to Appalachian State to study forensic science. 🎓

Through every stage of her life, Gabby's Big Sister, Sarah, has been there. From elementary school to middle school, through the ups and downs of high school, and now cheering her on as she takes this next step into college. They have grown together in so many ways and we are so grateful for dedicated mentors like Sarah!

We’re so proud to celebrate the graduation of our 3rd cohort of Beyond School Walls with Atrium Health! 🎓

Our 8th graders officially wrapped up middle school alongside their Bigs and are now heading off to high school. Over the past three years, these matches have built meaningful relationships that helped prepare Littles for their educational, emotional, and financial futures.

Thank you to our incredible Bigs for showing up, encouraging, listening, and investing in the next generation. And thank you to Atrium Health for making this program possible. We can’t wait to see all that these students accomplish in high school and beyond! 💚
