Over 215,000 units are needed for low income households in NC. But only 133,000+ are considered affordable and available in NC. When we don't have homes available for everyone, they become or stay unhoused. We need not just the legislature to come together, but Congress too. This is purely a policy choice!

Only 38 affordable and available rental homes exist for every 100 of North Carolina’s 350,000 extremely low-income households.
