The Blessing Place

The Blessing Place The Blessing Place is a mobile ministry outreach to assist babies, mothers & families. She is working to make ends meet and pay for school.

Who does The Blessing Place serve?
1) Mothers facing unplanned or crisis pregnancies
- “Can’t afford” is the most common verbalized reason when asked “Why do you want an abortion?”
2) Mothers in economic need
- Cabarrus County has approximately 20,200 people living below the poverty level.
- The most common are females aged 25-34. (Data from the Census Bureau https://datausa.io/profile/geo/cabar

3) Individuals & Families that unexpectedly take on the adoptive parent or foster care role
4) Individuals & Families in crisis situations: sudden loss of a job or change in income, premature birth or other unexpected medical burdens, change in family dynamics, etc.

• A young college student is facing an unplanned pregnancy. She is considering terminating her pregnancy because in her current situation, she cannot afford the costs associated with a newborn baby… The Blessing Place can help this young woman.
• A mother is very excited about her pregnancy and her upcoming 3rd child. The family is experiencing difficulty making ends meet due to her husband’s recent job loss. She doesn’t want to go to a crisis pregnancy center because she never dreamed of terminating her pregnancy – they just need help with diapers, formula and clothing until another job can be found… The Blessing Place can help this family.
• A mom of a six month old baby is battling homelessness and drug dependency. The baby’s grandparents have stepped into the role of caring for the child. They don’t have the needed items for the child and limited resources to obtain them … The Blessing Place can help these grandparents.
• A young married couple is expecting their first child. The baby is born three months early and survives with a lengthy hospital stay. Overwhelmed with medical expenses, they just don’t have the needed items when the baby is ready to come home… The Blessing Place can help these new parents.

Gail was moving from her home in Concord to a retirement community. She no longer had a need for her washer & dryer.

She generously donated it to The Blessing Place. We were able to pick it up and directly deliver it to Keshonna and her children today.

This is what it is all about!

Happy New Year from The Blessing Place!

This past year was again very busy helping babies, moms and families in our community with items FREE OF CHARGE.

In 2025, we gave away 1,000 baby items, 3,500 clothing items and over 500 packages of diapers & wipes.

We directly served 49 new and 23 repeat clients via our referral network. We also served a large number of clients via our Mobile Ministry Vehicle at numerous community events.

This can only be accomplished through donations. We would like to thank our monthly donors for their support in 2025.

We would like to do something different for 2026.
Would you join us by becoming a monthly contributor to The Blessing Place???

We would suggest a monthly donation of $26 for 2026 to start your support. A small sacrifice of a fast food meal for the family would allow us to continue to serve our clients. These clients are your neighbors. We have the ability to take your financial donations and directly assist those in need among us.

If you are currently a monthly contributor, THANK YOU! We look forward to your continued support.

If you are not, let’s get started today and start 2026 off with generosity!

The online link for donations is in the comments below.

Thank you in advance!
Blessings…

“The Trappings of Christmas”; the parties, the cookies, the candy, the food, the gifts, the decorations, the lights, the music, the movies…

We all enjoy these things at this time of the year. They are not inherently bad things but can be if we let them overshadow the true meaning of Christmas.

This year we pray that you will enjoy the fun and the traditions but more importantly you will encounter our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ in a new and different way that you have ever encountered him in the past!

Merry Christmas from The Blessing Place
