National Red Wine Day calls for a little vino and a lot of good company! Our Fountaingate Gardens members raised a glass to National Red Wine Day with great conversation, good friends and, of course, a little red wine to celebrate the occasion.

Because life at Fountaingate is always better when there’s something worth toasting!

Who doesn’t love the irresistible combination of cinnamon, chocolate and freshly baked babka? Our very own member, Marge W., led a hands-on babka workshop, sharing her tips and techniques while teaching fellow members how to make this delicious treat from scratch.

From kneading to filling, twisting and baking, it was a sweet afternoon filled with learning, laughter and, of course, plenty of delicious babka!

We love when our Fountaingate Gardens members share their talents and traditions with one another!

Mr. Softee made a special stop at Fountaingate Gardens, bringing plenty of smiles (and ice cream!) to our members. It was the sweetest way to cool down, catch up with friends and enjoy a classic summer treat.

Because sometimes, all you need on a hot summer day is ice cream and good company!

National Book Lovers Day: Week 3! Our Fountaingate Gardens members are back with more of their favorite book recommendations! This week, Ricki S. shares some of the books she loves and recommends adding to your reading list.

And while Ricki is an avid reader, she’s also a published author! She is the author of Ricki’s Story: A Memoir of Survival and Hope, a powerful and deeply personal story of resilience, courage and hope. We’re especially excited to welcome Ricki later this month for a special presentation for our members, where she’ll share more about her memoir and the story behind the book.

This National Senior Citizens Day, we’re celebrating the power of staying active, healthy and having a little fun along the way!

At Fountaingate Gardens, wellness is a way of life. Our members recently put on the gloves for a seated boxing class designed to build strength, coordination and confidence all while having a great time together!

The class recently caught the attention of Newsday with our members featured in the Our Towns section in Wednesday’s edition, both digitally and in print.

We’re proud to celebrate active aging and wellness at Fountaingate Gardens, one punch at a time!

A Hole-in-One Kind of Day! Last Friday, Fountaingate Gardens members hit the putting green for our Golf Classic and everyone had a tee-rific time!

Just like last year, we had a tie for the win! Congratulations to Ed and Jo, our co-champions! Way to putt your way to the top!

Our Fountaingate Gardens members enjoyed a delicious evening of lobster, with their choice of Surf & Turf, a classic Lobster Roll or a mouthwatering Lobster Tail dinner. Talk about a clawsome night!

There was plenty to sea and savor, with great food, good company and lots of happy diners.

Now that’s what we call a shore thing!
