We asked our campersβ€”and their answers say a lot about what makes Camp Edey so special.

For some, it’s the activities. For others, it’s the friendships, the adventures, or simply getting to spend summer surrounded by their camp sisters.

At Camp Edey, girls have the freedom to explore, learn, try new things, and discover more about who they are. It’s a space where they can laugh loudly, be silly, challenge themselves, and practice authenticity in a community that encourages them to be themselves.

Because sometimes, discovering who you are starts with having a place where you feel free to be exactly who you are. 🌿✨

This Summer, some of our Girl Scouts were able to catch the new film Cookies Queens, including Troop 1496, who made it a girls' night out, and Troops 320 and 1510, who attended opening weekend!

Cookie Queens spotlighted four Girl Scouts as they navigated cookie season and the lessons they learned along the way. Watching their journeys has us reflecting on our own. From goal setting and money management to teamwork and confidence, the skills learned during cookie season often stay with us long after the last box is sold.

🌈 Color Wars is always a highlight of the summer!

It’s a week filled with team spirit, laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities for girls to simply have fun together. From performing cheers in front of their friends to taking on the gauntlet, dancing the day away, and celebrating with pizza, every moment is about connection and sisterhood. πŸ’š

One of the special things about Girl Scout camp is having a screen-free environment where girls can be fully present with the people and experiences around them. It gives them space to laugh a little louder, be a little sillier, try something new, and enjoy summer with their camp sisters to the fullest.

These are the moments that become favorite summer memories. ✨
