Tough day in bluegrass. Allen Mills, co-founder of Lost & Found, and Pat Enright, solid lead singer and guitar player for the Nashville Bluegrass Band, both died today. Can't imagine a jam session that doesn't include Allen's signature song, "Love of the Mountains." Nor Pat Enright's lead vocals on countless NBB gems like "I'm the Happiest Man Alive."
We'll celebrate their lives this Saturday, Aug. 22, on the Bluegrass Ramble. Steaming live at WOSU.org and via the WOSU app. Over the air at 89.7.
And many thanks for the outpouring of support last Sunday for Bluegrass Ramble at the Barn. Your support of traditional American music and the Bluegrass Ramble is deeply appreciated!
