The Ohio University Flying Bobcats are excited to announce we will be attending the 2026 Columbus Airshow from June 19-21 at Rickenbacker International Airport.

Prepared pilots start on the ground. ✈️
Today the Flying Bobcats trained with the Albany Area Fire Department to sharpen emergency response coordination and safety procedures. Opportunities like this help strengthen coordination, preparedness, and safety both on the ground and in the air.

A big thanks to the Albany Area Fire Department for their time and experience!

We are so grateful for the Zero Hangar King Air cutout donated for auction from the UNI Aviation Alumni Association—an alumni-run, State of Ohio–recognized organization.
Partnering with a fellow OU alum–owned business, they have transformed the original exterior sheet metal from Zero Hangar into laser-cut representations of the Beechcraft Baron and King Air aircraft operated by OU. Each piece is professionally framed with a descriptive placard and is available in three sizes. One hundred percent of proceeds will support the Aviation Department and affiliated organizations such as the OU Flight Team. This is a unique opportunity to own a meaningful piece of OU aviation history while directly supporting our alma mater.

The Flying Bobcats Golf Scramble would not have been made possible without our platinum sponsor, MPW Industrial Services. MPW has continually supported the Flying Bobcats and has allowed many of our team members to learn more about Part 91 flight departments.

The team acknowledged MPW’s support with a plaque specially made for our platinum sponsor. All the thanks to MPW!!!

This year, the Flying Bobcats decided to introduce an award, known as the Friend of the Flying Bobcats Award.

Recipients of this award demonstrate a high level of support for the team. This support can take many forms.
Overall, this award is given to an individual who has gone above and beyond to help this team succeed. For the inaugural year of this award the Flying Bobcats presented Dan Rosenberg (with MPW) with the Friend of the Flying Bobcats award!

Dan is a former Flying Bobcat and has played a key role in making this event possible. Dan has gone above and beyond to support the Flying Bobcats in numerous ways. We thank Dan for his help and are proud to name him 2026 Friend of the Flying Bobcats!

The 2026 Flying Bobcats Golf Scramble was a HUGE success!! ⛳️🏌️‍♂️The team would like to thank all of those involved in making this outing possible. Thank you to all the staff at Hocking Hills Golf Club for organizing and hosting our event today. Thank you to all of the volunteers for giving their time to help today. Thank you to all of our faculty and staff at the Russ College. Thank you to Flight Outfitters for donating some of their products, we hope the winners enjoy them. Thank you to our platinum sponsor MPW industrial services, without their support this event would not be possible.
This was such a great opportunity to connect with everyone from alumni, friends, and family. This event opens many opportunities for our team and allows us to grow our skills for competition, and again we thank you for supporting us today!
