Our Thrift Barn warehouse needs a few days to reorganize...

When Hurricane Helene impacted our region, the Steps to Hope Thrift Barn in Landrum quickly became more than a thrift store. It became an emergency collection and distribution center, helping get much-needed items into the hands of people throughout our community. That important work also meant our warehouse had to work a little differently than usual—and now it’s time to get things back in order.

To give our team time to sort, reorganize and reset our collection area, the Thrift Barn will temporarily pause all donation drop-offs and pickups August 24–29. During this time, you can always contribute to our sister location in Columbus, NC, the Steps to Hope Thrift Store. 828-894-2373.

The Barn will remain open for shopping during this time. Be sure to lookout for special deals! Normal donation operations will resume Monday, August 31.

Thank you for your patience while we take a few days to get reorganized—and thank you for continuing to support Steps to Hope and the Thrift Barn.
