They showed up.

At the 2026 Ohio Fatherhood & Infant Vitality Summit, fathers filled the room. They came to learn and to listen. They asked hard questions and shared their stories. They sat in conversations about maternal health, infant loss, and postpartum support, topics too many people still assume are not a father's concern.

These dads proved otherwise.

Every face in these photos represents a child who has a father invested in their future. It represents a partner who does not have to carry the weight alone, and a family and a community that grow stronger because a man decided to be present from day one.

This is what the summit was about. This is what the movement is about.

To every father who walked through our doors: thank you. You are the reason we do this work, and you are proof that when dads show up, babies and families thrive.

Holding a room for a full day takes energy, heart, and purpose. Tres "TC" Carter brought all three.

Thank you to TC for hosting the 2026 Ohio Fatherhood & Infant Vitality Summit at Mitchell Hall. From the opening welcome to the final moments, he kept the room engaged, connected every session to our mission, and reminded everyone why fathers belong at the center of infant and maternal health.

TC led the stage the same way he leads in life, showing up fully and inspiring others to do the same. We are proud to also honor him as one of our 2026 Day One Dads.

History does not change on its own. People change it.

At this year's Ohio Fatherhood & Infant Vitality Summit, "The Evolution of Infant Mortality" gallery exhibit traced how far Ohio has come in protecting its babies, and how far we still have to go. Standing alongside that history, we honored three women who have spent their careers changing it: Jessica Roach, Stacy Scott, and Tanikka Price.

Through their leadership in maternal and infant health, these women have fought for Black mothers, supported families through their most vulnerable moments, and pushed systems to do better for every baby in Ohio. Every piece in that exhibit represents a family. Every one of these women represents what is possible when someone refuses to accept the status quo.

Thank you, Jessica, Stacy, and Tanikka, for your courage, your commitment, and your relentless work to ensure every baby has a chance to thrive. The work continues, and you are leading the way.

"If we lost 5,613 people to a terrorist attack, how would America react?- Charles Johnson

With that single question, the keynote speaker of the Ohio Fatherhood & Infant Vitality Summit, Founder of , silenced a full house and delivered a powerful message at this year's summit!!

Charles turned his family's loss into a national movement for maternal health, and his message was clear: these are not statistics. They are mothers, babies, and families, and the crisis demands the same urgency we would give any other national emergency. Fathers, partners, and communities cannot sit on the sidelines.
