On Monday, we celebrate an incredible milestone as Jon Aulette marks 10 years with House of Hope. Over the last decade, Jon has worn more hats than we can count, from COO, trainer, and IT problem solver to billing specialist, counselor fill-in, crisis calmer, and the guy who somehow always knows where everything is and how it works. As a veteran, Jon brings dedication, discipline, compassion, and heart into everything he does, and House of Hope would not be what it is today without his years of service and commitment. Thank you, Jon, for everything you do for our team and the people we serve.

Shane Hunter has been selected by Mental Health America of Ohio for special recognition during their PRS Appreciation Project on June 10th, and we could not be more proud. Shane continues to be an incredible inspiration to so many people through his passion for recovery, his heart for helping others, and his willingness to openly share his experience, strength, and hope with anyone who needs it. The impact he has every single day extends far beyond our organization, and it is amazing to see him recognized by the broader recovery community for the difference he continues to make in others' lives.

Last week staff from Hope Valley Recovery and New Day Recovery came to tour House of Hope and see the work being done inside the program. It was a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and show what recovery in action really looks like.

One of the most powerful moments happened during the tour when a past client walked in to let us know he had just been approved for his very first apartment. We all got to celebrate that moment with him together.

Moments like that are proof that the program works, recovery is real, and lives truly can change.

Today some of our clients got to experience something bigger than addiction — peace, laughter, connection, and a day out fishing together. Recovery is about more than just staying sober, it’s about learning how to live again and finding joy in the little things. Grateful to watch people build a new life one experience at a time. 🎣

House of Hope was grateful to be invited to this year’s Bridge Event in Chillicothe. It was an incredible opportunity to be part of something bigger than any one organization bringing people together in one central location to connect with vital resources and support.

There were so many dedicated individuals and organizations present, all working toward the same goal: helping people find hope, stability, and a path forward. Events like this remind us how powerful it is when a community comes together with a shared purpose. We’re honored to have been part of it and look forward to continuing this important work alongside so many great partners.
