EQUIP Skills Center

EQUIP Skills Center Equip Skills Center is a non-profit training center for 14-19 year-olds in Columbus OHIO.

Our mission is to help students identify and cultivate mechanical gifting, and equip them to be valuable to an employer and their community. The Trade Center is a non profit program to help students Identify and Cultivate being gifted with their hands. The intro class is the first class and is 6 weeks long, 1 day a week, from 4:00-5:30. The program is available to all 11-19yr old students with the firsts seats open to "at risk" youth.

It's been a big week at Equip with lots to celebrate! 9 students completed our 6-week Intro Auto Repair class AND we graduated 9 students from our Auto Repair Pre-apprenticeship program 😁 🏅

We are beyond grateful to Challenger Lifts and Myers Industries, Inc. for donating a new lift when our 25+ year-old lift broke last fall! 🥳 Without a replacement we would not have been able to run our Automotive Mechanics Pre-apprenticeship class.
