Today was the first meeting of the Golden Roses Group! Thank you Jamie Hadley for being our speaker. A shoutout to Zaxbys in Columbia for donating lunch. We look forward to our next meeting which will be a mini conference sponsored by The Support Agency, Recovery Plus Mental Health Clinic, and Golden Roses.

After a year-long pause, the Golden Roses Group is excited to announce that we are back!

Golden Roses is a nonprofit group dedicated to supporting and serving grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. We provide a safe and supportive space where grandparents can connect with others who understand their journey, share experiences, find resources, and build a strong community of support.

Golden Roses Group meets once a month at Recovery Plus Mental Health, located at 400 Public Square (Watch our FB page for dates and times).

We are excited to reconnect with our Golden Roses family, welcome new members, and continue building a community where grandparents feel supported, valued, and never alone.🌹

The grandparent support group's monthly meeting this morning included the distribution of self-care bags and Valentine's Day door hangers, as well as a cookie-decorating activity for attendees to share with their loved ones.
