Today, August 31st, would have been Cameron's 8th birthday. Instead, the world lost this bright light in June 2025. Back in 2023, she kindly served as the CCF Ambassador to Giant Food's Childhood Cancer Fundraising Campaign. One child lost to cancer is unacceptable, so we continue to fight. CCF is grateful to Giant for making it possible to fund research for decades. This campaign is going on now through October 15. Many thanks to Constellation and CCF Board Member Matt Cimino of Constellation Home for welcoming us to their annual family crab feast! We were able to run a raffle for the families, with all funds raised towards research!

Today marked the grand re-opening of a Giant Food store in Frederick, MD AND the launch of the 2026 Giant Food Pediatric Cancer Fundraising campaign, running through September (Childhood Cancer Awareness Month), until mid-October.
