Our next MN-FEA meeting is Thursday, April 16th from 7-8pm at Columbia Heights Fire Department. We'll be discussing Governors Fire Prevention Day (including some potential changes to events), our practice day, and hosting elections. If you're an Explorer advisor, we hope you can join us.

Only a few hours left to max out your giving skills for Give to the Max Day 2025! 🎉 Help us score $1,000 to fuel Fire Explorers' training across the state in 2026. And, hey, if you're free on Friday, August 28th, 2026, come watch the Explorers in action at the MN State Fair. Stick around for Weird Al's Grandstand gig - it'll be 'Amish Paradise'!

We're halfway through the day...and Minnesotans are showing yet again how much we support each other. Thank you to those who have already donated to us. If you're still thinking about where to donate, please consider donating $50 to MN-FEA to help support one of our joint-training events.

Last week, posts met to discuss our 2026 plans. With your support, we're hoping to offer even more joint training opportunities in 2026. Our big event is the Explorer Competition at the MN State Fair, but we host several other trainings throughout the year to allow Explorers to test their skills and get to know Explorers from other posts. Your donation will empower us to develop the next generation of first responders.

Tomorrow is Give to the Max Day. There are thousands of amazing organizations throughout the state that do some AMAZING work. We've love if you'd consider donating a small amount to MN-FEA to help us continue to offer some great joint-training opportunities for young people interested in the Fire Service.

The registrations are in (15 teams from 14 posts). Public Education topics have been sent. Teams are entering the final week of preparation before Governors Fire Prevention Day at the MN State Fair on August 22. We're making our list of fair foods to pick up when we have breaks. Will we see you there?

It's only 50 days until Governors Fire Prevention Day at the MN State Fair. I don't know about you, but we're getting excited to see Explorers from across the region showcase their skills. You could pick up some cheese curds or any of the other amazing options at the Fair and cheer them on August 22. Hope to see you there!
