The facility is intended for the use and enjoyment of the Cordera Residents. La Plata Communities, Inc. is proud to present this exciting and vibrant neighborhood amenity to the residents of Cordera. The Cordera Community Center was created to be an integral part of the community where residents can live, play, learn and connect with their family, friends and neighbors. We believe the Community Ce

nter was designed to meet that vision; the rest is up to you. As a service to our Members, the Cordera YMCA Child Watch program provides on-site child watch for Members and their guests while enjoying the Facility. Management’s goal is to provide a positive experience for children in a safe and secure environment during their visit to the Facility. The Child Watch Service offers interesting and age-appropriate activities implemented by well-trained Child Watch attendants. The Facility is an ideal venue for special events and community meetings. The large community room (“Great Room”) can accommodate a large audience and can be separated into three small group activity rooms for more intimate gatherings and meetings. The Facility may be used by Members, Management and Cordera Approved Builders in accordance with the policies and procedures established for the Facility.

Aloha Summer! Island Adventures Art Camp
Trade screen time for sunshine, imagination, and connection this summer! At Aloha Summer Art Camp, young artists will dive into a vibrant island-inspired experience where creativity, friendship, and confidence come to life.
Guided by an experienced and passionate art teacher, campers won’t just “do crafts”—they’ll explore real artistic techniques while expressing their own unique ideas. Each day is thoughtfully designed to balance structured creativity with playful exploration, giving kids the freedom to create, connect, and just be kids.
What your child will create:
· A stunning tribal sea turtle mixed-media artwork full of pattern and personality
· A hilarious and expressive “silly self-portrait” collage (a camper favorite!)
· A bold Hawaiian landscape painting inspired by ocean views and tropical skies
· Sculptural fun with tiki figures made from recycled materials
· Plus surprise mini-projects to keep inspiration flowing!
But this camp is about so much more than art…

· Making new friends in a welcoming, encouraging environment
