Every older adult deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported. Raising awareness is one important way we can help protect vulnerable members of our community.

A few ways to help support older adults:

🔹Check in regularly with aging loved ones or neighbors
🔹Pay attention to sudden behavioral or financial changes
🔹Speak up if something does not seem right

Hot weather can be especially difficult for older adults and individuals with health conditions, which makes a few simple precautions extra important this time of year.

🔹Drink water regularly throughout the day
🔹Wear lightweight, breathable clothing
🔹Limit time outdoors during peak afternoon heat
🔹Check in on loved ones during especially hot days

A quick phone call or visit can make a big difference.
