We aim to strengthen and support families and local child welfare agencies by creating community around them.

At the start of summer we got to bless our FAMilies with a little something simple: fun drinks.

Not because coffee fixes hard things, but because sometimes a fun drink on a random day can feel like a small reminder that you are seen.

Foster care, adoption, and caring for vulnerable kids often happens in the unseen moments — school pickups, therapy appointments, hard conversations, long nights, extra laundry, interrupted plans, and faithful “yeses” no one else notices.

We are grateful for families who keep showing up.

At Heights - we got to dedicate 4 adopted kids — two sibling sets being raised by 4 different families — all intentionally staying connected and doing life together so those sibling relationships could remain open and known.

Foster care and adoption brought exhaustion, grief, logistics, heartbreak, and sacrifice. Life didn’t slow down because they opened their homes. No one involved would call themselves heroes. They were simply trying to be faithful to the ways God was nudging them.

But Sunday felt like a reminder that God redeems.

During the dedication, one of the boys moved across the stage to stand beside his brother because that’s still his brother. That small moment said more than words ever could.

There has been so much hard in navigating brokenness. But there has also been so much beauty. So many reminders that God has been present in every part of the story.

Happy Mother’s Day 💛

Today we honor and celebrate the women who pour themselves out in love every single day—biological moms, foster moms, adoptive moms, grandmas, spiritual moms, and the many women who step into hard places to care for children and families.

We see firsthand the quiet strength, sacrifice, and faith it takes to say “yes” to this work. Whether you’re in the middle of sleepless nights, navigating transitions, or showing up in ways no one else sees—your love reflects the heart of God.

“Can a mother forget her nursing child? … Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.” — Isaiah 49:15

Because of Jesus, we’ve been brought into a family we didn’t earn—a love that doesn’t waver. And every act of care, every moment of compassion, is a living picture of that gospel truth.

To every woman walking this road: you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

Meet and Greet

In April we gathered with one of our Wrap Around Care teams and the family they’ll be walking alongside this year. They shared a meal, laughed, heard pieces of each other’s stories, and prayed together.

Wrap Around Care teams are made up of 6–8 people who commit to supporting a family for a year—one simple act of care each month. Sometimes that looks like bringing a meal, helping with laundry, light cleaning, or childcare. Small things, done with great love, over time.

This kind of long-term, steady care helps families say yes to welcoming children into their homes. They don’t have to do it alone—and that changes everything.

We currently have 3 active care teams, and we’re grateful for each person who has stepped in to be the family of God in tangible ways.

We are so grateful for an incredible weekend at our FAM Yard Sale!

Because of your generosity, we raised $7,000 to support vulnerable children and families in our community. From those who donated items, to the many volunteers who gave their time and energy, to everyone who came out to shop—this was truly a collective effort.

One of the sweetest parts of the weekend was the time we got to spend connecting with so many people in the community. Conversations were shared, stories were heard, and relationships were built—it reminded us that this is about so much more than a fundraiser.

It takes a community to create something like this. Your support helps us continue stepping into hard places with tangible care and gospel hope.
