If you know of dogs that will be out in the cold/ice this weekend-please call to report it!

Do not take no for an answer!

Provide the statute showing where proper shelter must be provided or it is animal cruelty.

RS 14:102.15(3)
It is a crime to fail to provide proper shelter, food, water, and care.
Shelter must have a roof and four solid walls.
Shelter must be elevated and free of standing water, f***s, and debris.
Shelter must shield dogs from heat, cold, wind, rain, and sun.

If you see something, say something!

Dogs in our area are not used to these temps! If they are chained up with no shelter in the temps and ice-they could die!!
They may be counting on you to save their life!

Don’t message us about the dogs. We can not do anything. And we will not report dogs we have not seen. If you see it-you call!
If you call and nothing is done, or you are blown off, then let us know and we will try to follow up!

FOSTERS NEEDED
Fosters needed for the weekend from the cold.
We have ice and predicted loss of power.
All the shelter dogs are outside!
If you can help, a crate and food will be provided!

Betty Boop is a 40 lb lab 2 yr old mix female and Buford is an 85 lb 1 yr old lab mix male.
They are both heart worm negative and THE sweetest dogs!
They don’t deserve to be in a shelter that is almost double the amount of dogs it has space for!
They need a home or rescue!
Please come meet them and get them out!
We will chip them at no charge to approved adopters!
