Coach Herring is entering his 5th year at Beekman Charter and serves a junior high defensive coordinator and helps with varsity on Friday nights. Coach Herring is also an assistant coach for boys basketball.

He has a bachelors degree from University of Louisiana-Monroe and a Masters degree from Northwestern State University. Coach Herring played at Oak Grove High School.

Coach Herring began his coaching career at Epps High school in West Carroll Parish.
Herring has 10 years of coaching and teaching experience.

Coach Herring is a 3rd generation coach/teacher and looks forward to continuing to help grow Beekman Charter and our athletic programs.

Coach Weatherbee is entering his 3rd year at Beekman Charter. Coach Weatherbee serves as the head baseball coach and assistant football coach where he helps coach linebackers and strength & conditioning.

He has a bachelors degree from ULM. Coach Weatherbee is a native of Booneville, MS where he attended and played at Thrasher High School. He played 2 years of college baseball at ULM and played both baseball and football at Northeast Mississippi CC.

Coach Shawn Weatherbee began his coaching career at Beekman Charter School 3 years ago. He is married to Mrs. Weatherbee who teaches English at BCS.

Coach Weatherbee is a hard worker, and a bright young coach. He looks forward to continuing to help grow Beekman Charter and our athletic programs.

Coaching Spotlight: Hunter Ford

Coach Ford is entering his third year at Beekman Charter School and serves as a junior high football coach and varsity baseball. Coach Ford teaches IBCA, Occupational Health and PE.

He has a degree in Bachelor of Applied Sciences from Arkansas Tech University and an associate's degree from Fort Scott Community College. Prior to playing college baseball for TCS, Fort Scott, and Arkansas Tech, Coach Ford played at Quitman High School.

Coach Ford’s coaching career began at Quitman High School in 2021. He has 5 years of coaching experience at the high school and middle school levels.

Coaching Spotlight: Jackson Kimball

Coach Kimball is entering his 3rd year at Beekman Charter School and serves as the Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs coach. He is will also be taking over as the Head powerlifting coach.

He is currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Prior to ULM, Coach Kimball played at Ouachita Parish High School.

Coach Kimball’s coaching career began at River Oaks in 2022. He has 4 years of coaching experience at the high school and middle school levels.

We are excited to have Coach Kimball on full-time with us next year at BCS where he will have a strong impact in football and powerlifting.
