Join us in wishing good luck to Suzan, as she heads in for training today with the Guide Dog Foundation in the hopes of becoming future guide dog for the blind. Suzan was raised by Chelsea Boyer, as her second dog and Gannon Sprinkle as his first dog, they also had help from repeat raiser, Lesly Landaverde. We’re so proud of Miss Suz and so excited for her future . Good luck Suzan!

Through a collaborative initiative between the University of Maryland’s Department of Communication and Do Good Institute, students in COMM107 courses deliver persuasive speeches advocating for social issues, with classmates voting to award a $150 mini-grant per class to the chosen organizations. Terps Raising Pups was lucky enough to have received multiple of these mini-grants over this past school year! These funds will go towards our raiser relief fund to support our college students raising future assistance dogs. A huge thank you to all of the students who chose to speak about Terps Raising pups and thank you to the Do Good Institute and the Department of Communication for making this possible! For one last member Monday and to close out our graduating seniors it’s time for me to take over the mic one last time. My name is Bella Richardson and I am graduating with a degree in animal science. Over the past four years that I have been with TRP I have been a part of our fundraising, outreach, and social media teams. Then taking over as your social media head this year. I was also an AC this year and hope to continue to be one in the future. I have raised Eppley (working guide), Dee Dee (SDIT), Bell (SDIT) and I helped start Cece (SDIT). These past four years have been some of the best of my life. I’m going to miss watching each and every dog grow. Being an AC teaching puppy classes I saw every dog change and learn. I will miss that so much. Post grad I am starting my own business training dogs both companions and owner trained service dogs. Thank you so much to TRP for these amazing years, amazing friends, and amazing dogs. This is your 2025-26 social media head signing off. I love you all🖤

Congrats to graduate Julie Gray who has been a part of Terps raising pups since September of 2022. While being a part of our group she has raised Lulu (pet), Liberty (pet), Hope (sdit), and Emmett (sdit). Julie has been an Area Coordinator and president of TRP for the last two years while also helping on our outreach and fundraising committees. Julie is majoring in biology (neurobiology & physiology). When asked what she will miss most about TRP she said “I will miss all my friends I’ve made along the way (dog and human) and hosting puppy class. Taking my dogs to class has been such a big part of my college experience and I don’t know what I’ll do without it!” Post grad Julie plans to apply for medical school and work full time! -
