Growing Leaders Beyond the Game - Athletes Helping Athletes The M Club was proud to have Executive Director Renaldo Nehemiah accompany our Maryland Made student-athletes at the Big Ten Conference Big Life Series: Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon, representing both Maryland and the M Club.
The immersive leadership experience brought together student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from all 18 Big Ten institutions to explore the history, culture, and communities of the Pacific Northwest. Through visits to historic and cultural landmarks, meaningful conversations with community leaders, and shared experiences, participants gained new perspectives on leadership, resilience, and service.
Experiences like the Big Life Series reinforce the value of learning beyond the classroom and competition, helping prepare Maryland student-athletes to lead wherever life takes them.
We are proud of our Terps for representing the University of Maryland and grateful to Renaldo for supporting them throughout this impactful experience.
