The Community Mental Health Awareness Night is TONIGHT! There is still time to RSVP (or please feel free to show up if are able to attend at the last minute!)
The event is at city hall (free parking) and will include food, a self-care basket raffles, and give-away items! The specific schedule is as follows:
5:45-6:15pm- keynote speech from Dr. Mary Ann Hoffman
6:15-6:30pm- experiential mindfulness activity from Taylor Morris
6:30-8pm- food, raffle, and tabling event to meet mental health providers in the area
UMD-CARES will also be collecting donations for Community Crisis Services, Inc. at the event, items to be collected include storage bins, combination locks, fleece blankets, twin sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash clothes, feminine hygiene products, socks, underwear, deodorant, shower shoes, laundry detergent, fabric softener, gift cards, smart trip cards, dryer sheers, Lysol, latex gloves, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, car seats, pack and play pins.
