🏃‍♀️ Join Us. Run With Us. Stand With Us. 🏃‍♂️
This year, you don’t have to lace up your running shoes to be part of the Vermont City Marathon. When you support USCRI, you help refugees and immigrants complete their own marathon journeys—toward safety, stability, and belonging.
Sunday, May 24, USCRI Vermont staff and volunteers will be running again—powered by the belief that no one should collapse alone at the edge of the finish line. Every mile we run and every dollar you give helps lift someone up when their legs can no longer carry them forward.

Your support helps families:
✅ Secure lawful status
✅ Access medical and mental health care
✅ Find safe housing and employment
✅ Build stable, dignified lives in Vermont

💙 Your impact:
• $25 covers transportation to critical medical or legal appointments
• $50 supports required documentation for adjustment of status
• $100 provides case management for housing, benefits, and employment
• $250 supports comprehensive legal preparation and referrals
• $500 stabilizes a household in crisis
• $1,000+ safeguards dignity and continuity for multiple families

📣 Come cheer us on, wear our T shirt, and stand with us as we Run for Refugees.
👋 Find us at the Marathon Expo on May 22 & 23, follow us here on Facebook, and scan the QR code to donate.

Because the race for dignity, safety, and belonging isn’t over—and together, we can make sure everyone reaches the finish line. 💫

🌟 We’re Looking for Volunteers to Join Our Resettlement Community

USCRI Vermont is in need for compassionate, dedicated volunteers. Every week, we support clients in Vermont ready to rebuild their lives, and volunteers play a crucial role in helping them feel welcomed, supported, and connected.

From transportation and English practice to family friendship, events, and administrative support, volunteers make an enormous difference in the lives of our clients. If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to give back, this is a powerful place to start.

Our Volunteer Coordinator Dee Dee says: “Volunteering becomes a chance to build something meaningful and be part of a long‑term relationship." If you’re curious, passionate, or simply want to support your neighbors in a tangible way, we’d love to meet you. Whether you have a few hours a month or a few hours a week, your time can change someone’s life.

To learn more or get started, reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] - We’re excited to welcome new faces into our community.
