Happy Cow Appreciation Day! 🐄❤️

Today we're celebrating the incredible beef cattle that help feed families across America and the dedicated ranchers who work tirelessly to care for them. From pasture to plate, every steak, roast, and burger starts with the commitment of hardworking cattle producers.

Thank you to the ranching families who care for their cattle 365 days a year and help provide a safe, wholesome, and nutritious beef supply. Today, we celebrate you and the cattle that make it all possible!

The Madera County Cattlewomen Coloring Contest is a great way for students Pre-K through 4th grade to celebrate the season and even have their artwork displayed at the fair! And the best part is that it is FREE to enter!!! 🎨✨

🏆 Prizes per class:
🥇 1st Place – $15
🥈 2nd Place – $10
🥉 3rd Place – $5

📚 Classes:
• Pre-K & Kinder
• 1st & 2nd Grade
• 3rd & 4th Grade

Before everyone heads off to enjoy parades, barbecues, fireworks, and time with family and friends, we wanted to take a moment to wish you and all of America a very Happy Fourth of July. We hope your day is filled with gratitude, laughter, and pride as we celebrate the blessings of living in this great nation.

Madera County CattleWomen had a great day at the Heritage Day which took place at the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds 🤠🐂 We loved talking all things ranching and beef from brands to tack and equipment, plus sharing children’s books and trick roping. The kids had such a great time learning and getting hands-on with western traditions! 🌾💛

Happy Earth Day from Madera County Cattlewomen! 🌎🐄💚
Cattle play an important role in keeping our earth healthy. Through managed grazing, cattle help maintain healthy grasslands, improve soil health, and support wildlife habitats. They are also a natural part of the carbon cycle—plants capture carbon from the air, cattle graze those plants, and nutrients are returned to the soil to help new plants grow.

We are proud to support ranching families who work every day to care for the land, their animals, and the future of agriculture. Healthy cattle, healthy land, healthy planet.
