*All projects are run by adult volunteers. If you are interested in a project that you don't see here and would like to volunteer to become a leader, contact us! Apply for membership through www.4honline.com,

you will be confirmed as a member once dues are received by the club. Once a confirmed member, you may join as many projects as you can keep up with. MEETINGS: Club meetings once a month, usually 2nd Thurs of each month. Each Project meets separately, usually about once a month. MINI MEMBERS can not join large animal projects and certain other projects at the discretion of the project leader. GENERAL CLUB CALENDAR:

MEMBERS can be as active as they want to be in as many projects as they can manage. TO BE ELIGIBLE TO SHOW AND SELL A MARKET ANIMAL, you must remain a member in good standing with 80% attendance at club meetings and 80% attendance at the animal project meetings for which animal you are selling. Your Record Book should also be kept up to date and be turned in on time.

🎉 Congratulations to our members Dillan King and Maisie Subia! 🎉

Both had an amazing day yesterday at the Madera District Fair! 🐾🐴

🐶 Dillan participated in the dog show, competing in Junior Showmanship and Obedience.

🐴 Maisie participated in the horse show, competing in Intermediate Showmanship, English Horse Show, Western Horse Show, and Gymkhana.

🏆 They both took home ribbons in ALL of their events! What an incredible accomplishment!

We are so proud of Dillan and Maisie and all the hard work, dedication, and time they have put into their projects. ❤️

Way to go, Dillan and Maisie! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! 🎉🏆

🐑🐐🐴 Our 2026–2027 4-H year is off to a GREAT start! 🎉

Our Sheep, Goat, and Horse groups held their first meetings as they begin preparing for fair! 💪🏼✨

🐑🐐 Sheep/Goat Project: Tagged their animals, practiced showmanship, and trimmed hooves.

🐴 Horse Project: Practiced showmanship and gave a pony a much-needed bath! 🧼🐴

We are so proud of these kids for jumping right in and getting to work! We can’t wait to watch all of their hard work pay off at the fair! 🏆❤️

Today, three of our members attended State Field Day at UC Davis! 🍀 They competed in forestry, plant science, and insect identification contests, with two members also giving presentations after qualifying at regionals last month. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to representing our club at such a high level. Great job, girls! 💚

We are so proud of our 4-H members and all of the hard work they’ve put in this week at the Chowchilla Madera County Fair!

Come out and support our youth exhibitors at the upcoming livestock auctions:

🐇 Small Animal Auction — Tonight at 6:00 PM
🐄🐖🐑🐐 Large Animal Auction — Tomorrow at 1:30 PM

Our members will have a meat pen of rabbits, a steer, a pig, a lamb, and a goat available for sale. Your support means so much to these hardworking kids and helps encourage the next generation of agriculture and leadership.
