Meet your FCA Director, Pat Lynch, a dedicated and passionate leader with a rich history in both athletics and community service. A 1987 graduate of Yosemite High School, Pat went on to attend Merced Junior College, where he played football for the Blue Devils. He is married to Jeniffer Lynch, and together they have four children in their 20s. After earning his degree in Physical Education from Cal State Fresno in 1991, Pat began a long and impactful career as a football coach at Yosemite High, later also coaching basketball from 1993 to 2002. His commitment to youth and sports extended beyond the field; he became a campus advisor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Yosemite High in 2012 and helped launch Changed 180ยฐ, a youth group at Living Way Church.
Pat's influence continued to grow as he organized Fields of Faith outreach events and volunteered at various sports camps, including the FCA Summer Camp at UC Davis and UCLA's Total Athlete Camp. From 2018 to 2021, he contributed his expertise to the coaching staff at Minarets High School. In 2022, Pat's passion for inclusive sports led him to coach with the Special Olympics in Madera, where he helped start flag football and basketball teams. His commitment to FCA culminated in his appointment as the Director for Madera County in the fall of 2022. Since then, Pat has initiated several programs, including a Fields of Faith event at Torres High, a Mountain Bike Huddle, a youth basketball camp, and a Rodeo Club. Pat looks forward with enthusiasm, eager to see where God will lead him and the FCA Ministry.
