Clinton merchants are open during this summer’s NYS Department of Transportation road and sidewalk reconstruction project.
As an extra incentive to shop local, CKIC is sponsoring six weekly drawings for a chance to win one of five $25 gift certificates for purchases made at any participating Clinton Chamber of Commerce business.

All you have to do is shop at a participating business in the village downtown area and complete an entry form to be entered to win.
Drawings are held each Thursday through August 20, 2026. All entries are also eligible to win the $500 grand prize, which will also be drawn on August 20th.

Members of the Hamilton College hockey team drew the recipients of the $25 gift certificates, and Steven Tepper, Hamilton College President, drew the name of the $500 grand prize winner.

What does it mean to be an engaged citizen? Join us at the Kirkland Town Library on Monday, August 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for an important Public Square.

Hear from a range of community leaders about what they think it means to be an active member of the community. Guests include New York State Senator Joseph A. Griffo, Sheriff Robert Maciol, District Attorney Todd Carville, County Legislator Chad Davis, Clinton Central School Superintendent Christopher Clancy, and Ty Siedule, Hamilton College Professor of History and Executive Director of Common Ground. All are welcome to join this important conversation.

We are so excited to see this progress! This project was awarded funding through the Small Project Fund, one of the projects supported by the Clinton/Kirkland DRI grant.
