This poor cat was caught in a claw trap and drug it around a neighborhood for 10 days before it was freed from the trap at that time. It remained on the loose after that. Insert absolutely no negative comments about that as I know the circumstances and was thankful the trap was now off of it. The trap was turned over to the game wardens where I'm very thankful for them.
Finally he or she went into the live trap we had set this morning and is now headed to the vet for medical care. I'm not sure what the bill will run yet. Any help is appreciated. Donations are tax deductible thru the rescue Haven Animal Rescue and Transport of Oklahoma

Tractor Supply Co. in Weatherford, OK is hosting an angel tree to benefit shelter pets. We are extremely grateful for their support!

The low cost spay neuter clinic we use in Oklahoma city has openings for us to do not 1 but 2 clinics in December!! There are 40 spots on each clinic so space is limited. The first clinic will be Monday Dec 1st. Once that clinic is filled the next clinic will be December 15th. We WILL NOT book for Dec 15th until the first one is full. If you would like to get your pet spayed or neutered. Please remember this loads on a Monday at 5 am at the Frisco center in Clinton, ok. If you cannot commit to that please let someone have your appt spot. Payment is due in full 2 weeks before the clinic date. If you would like an appt please call or text 580-309-4799.

When you call or text:
Please leave your name, good contact number, name of pet, cat or dog (if dog need breed and weight estimate for crates), age, male or female and color. You will have to fill out the surgery form and pay for services before the clinic

Costs are as follow:
Mobile fee-(1st pet) $10 addition pet $5 each

Dog (female) Spay $65
Dog (male) Neuter $55
Neuter (male) cat $35
Spay (female) cat $45

Annual shots
-DAPP(for Dogs) $10
-FVRCP(For Cats) $10
-Rabies $10 (if you do not have proof they are current they will have to get vaccinated for it. This is a state law.)
-Bordetella $15(dogs only recommended for grooming)
-Pain meds $10 (I recommend this)

Additional services:
Microchip $25
Dewormer $10
Nail trim/ear cleaning $15
Nails only-$10
Heartworm test(dogs) $15
Bravecto(3months) $60
Nexgard Combo for cats $25

If your animal is current on rabies you will need to provide that proof. Please contact your vet if you have misplaced it otherwise you will be required to revaccinate your animal with rabies. This will be due the weekend before clinic.

Hey everyone!

Currently, there are 7 dogs that are in need of vetting. They were released from an animal cruelty case recently, and were in danger of being put down.

Through no fault of their own, this would be a reality for most of these animals, were it not for Heather Estrada’s rescue.

Not only does Heather pull animals from the pound, she also puts together the ONLY low cost spay/neuter & vaccine program in our area. Her rescue transports every animal from Clinton to OKC AND back, in order to make spay/neuter/vaccines affordable for everyone in our area.

Even though all of this is done through H.A.R.T. Of Oklahoma, they can’t even afford to get all of their animals vetted.

Today, there was a meeting place set up for people to pay for the next low cost clinic on September 22nd. Well, some people didn’t show today OR answer texts or calls.

What if we didn’t let those spots be wasted and we all chipped in ANY amount you could spare and help these dogs get vetted, so they can get placed where they deserve.

All we need to raise is $405.00 to get them all FULLY vetted. That’s it!

We had a lady tell us that a vet quoted her $480.00 to have ONE dog neutered, not even a spay! 🤯

All hands on deck!!!

In the last few weeks the rescue has taken in many animals that needed veterinarian care. A senior girl that showed up at the fire station, owner surrenders, puppies, law enforcement assist and orphaned puppies that are growing and going thru the milk replacement. In just medical alone the rescue owes over $1600 still. I cannot take in anymore animals or help anymore until medical bills are paid. I owe over $1600. Today was a long and heartbreaking day. A day none of us fully expected. I knew how 4 of the dogs appeared that lived outside but I was not prepared for what was behind closed doors. I worked with another agency and asked the Danah with The Dog Grooming Lounge if they could help with getting the dogs off the property. They agreed to help and I am thankful for the help. We not only had to yank the barrier fencing around the cage off but we had to dig the earth and brick from the gate and still had to pry it open just to get the dog out. Living in filth, no food no water and wasting away. She would bark but wag her tail and was a hard read on if she was going to bite or not so I chose to use a catch pole only long enough to realize that all she wanted was to desperately get out. Dogs emaciated down to nothing. There were almost a many deceased dogs as we removed alive. The dogs inside were locked in crates except for 2 and one could not even stand. We blanket gurney her out to the vehicle.

They ended their day with getting vaccines and baths, nail trims as well as flea and tick meds. Fresh water and food. For now they are with the rescue Haven Animal Rescue and Transport of Oklahoma

There are 34 dogs and puppies in the care of my rescue Haven Animal Rescue and Transport of Oklahoma and with that being said we are also out of adult dog food and in desperate need of puppy food.
I hate to even ask but we could use some help. Pedigree puppy food or puppy chow is needed as well as any adult dog food anyone can spare or donate. Donations can be dropped off in Corn, ok at The Dog Grooming Lounge or I can meet someone on the weekends when I'm not working.

Haven Animal Rescue and Transport of Oklahoma can't keep up with all the medical that we have recently endured. The rescue has exhausted all the funding we had and need help to cover remaining bills. In the last couple of weeks we have taken in some bull terriers and found out 2 of them are pregnant and not far from delivering😞. The bill for them was over $500 for the 3 of them to be seen and get vaccines current as well as ultrasounds on the girls.
4 puppies that were 4 weeks old from a cruelty investigation that were full of worms and in horrible shape needed seen by a vet. They had fecals run, vaccines and dewormer.

Then I found a rescue out of state to save 6 puppies that were picked up and went to an emergency foster for the pound. To get them to their rescue the medical was over $300.
5 dogs went to the vet today to get their vaccines updated while they wait on their forever homes.

I rushed a smaller chi terrier to the vet after being attacked by a coyote. Sure has 3 broken ribs, punctures, a couple lacerations and her poor right lung 😭💔 if you could have listened to her gurgling and watching her side expanding out while trying to breathe was heartbreaking. The inital exam Dr Thorne couldn't hear any lung movement on that side either where the ribs are broken. Emergency surgery was performed.

This year for the 2025 low cost spay and neuter clinics provided by Haven Animal Rescue and Transport of Oklahoma there have been a few changes.

1.) Aggressive animals
Aggressive animals will no longer be allowed. If your dog is other dog aggressive and or people aggressive they will not be accepted. If we cannot safely handle your animal the day we load due to aggression they will not be allowed to board. We understand the difference between being scared or unsure with all the different animals that are there. If one makes it to the clinic and we have to use a tranquilizer stick to sedate to safely handle them you will be charged an additional fee of $50.00 per animal. I have to look out for the safety of all the other animals, my volunteers and the clinic staff.

2.) Cancellation fee
There is a lot of work that goes into these clinics. Not to mention the day of work lost for our volunteers but most importantly the clinic staff is providing this service on one of their scheduled days off. They are coming in to work to provide this service for your animals instead of enjoying the day relaxing. They are working hard to get 40 animals fixed and back home as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before clinic to give us time to fill your spot. Anything less than a 48 hour notice to cancel your appointment or if you don't show the day of the clinic there will be a non refundable cancellation fee of $35 per animal then the remaining balance of what was paid will be refunded within 24 hours.

3.) Transport fee
Transport fee is being raised from $5 per animal to $10 for the 1st animal and $5 for each additional animal.

The rescue organization and its volunteers can exercise the right to refuse service to anyone
