We want to clear up some confusion from a recent article — our kitchen is NOT closed‼️

While demolition of the old living quarters is underway, we only lost water for a few hours that day!

Even during that time, we continued serving our community by providing sandwiches so no one went without a meal.

We are still here. We are still serving & we are still committed to our mission every single day!!

Thank you for your continued support ❤️

Please excuse our mess while we tear down the old shelter and begin taking steps toward building a new one for our community!!

Our kitchen is still serving meals every single day, and we are continuing to accept donations to help us keep going during this transition.

For any questions or concerns, please contact our director, Jennifer Lee, at 580-323-6820.

We appreciate your patience, support, and generosity more than you know!!

We are beyond grateful for the incredible support from our community. Because of your generous donations, our kitchen is able to continue feeding those who need it most every single day!!

Your kindness doesn’t just fill plates—it brings hope, comfort, and a reminder that no one is alone. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside us and making a difference. ❤️

We are always in need of donations to keep this mission going. If you’d like to help, please contact Jennifer Lee at 580-323-6820.

We need your help, friends ❤️

Our kitchen has seen a big increase in the number of people coming in for meals, and while we are so grateful to serve, we are currently struggling to keep up—especially when it comes to meat donations.

Meat is one of the most important (and hardest) items for us to keep stocked, and right now our supply is running low. Every pound makes a difference in helping us provide warm, filling meals to those who depend on us.

If you’re able to donate (beef, chicken, pork, etc.), it would mean so much. Whether it’s a small amount or a bulk donation, it all goes directly to feeding our community.

If you’d like to help, please call
Jennifer Lee (580) 323-6820

Thank you for always showing up and supporting this mission. We couldn’t do this without you ❤️

When the cold comes, God’s people rise. We are thankful for churches, first responders, and volunteers opening their doors and hearts to care for those in need. This is faith in action—loving our neighbors and serving one another.
Clinton is BLESSED. 🤍

Clinton First United Methodist Church is hosting a warming station in its fellowship hall, starting at 1 p.m. tomorrow and running through 1 p.m. Monday. The church staff will be serving hot food.

Our board will be reapplying for the variance change and seeking to be placed back on the City Council agenda!!

We encourage our community members who are concerned about the temporary shelter closure to respectfully reach out to our Clinton City Council. Your voices matter, and advocating for solutions and support can help us work toward reopening services as soon as possible.

We also want the community to understand that the City previously sold the Mission property west of our current location with the intent of allowing us to build a new facility. Since that time, the City Council has changed, and approval is no longer being granted.

While we are grandfathered in at our current building—which is a World War II–era nurses’ home. We can continue investing significant funds into maintaining it, but the amount of money required to completely update the existing house would exceed the cost of constructing a new, safer, purpose-built facility.

An updated building would allow us to better serve our community with safer, more efficient, and more appropriate services.

Once again, we couldn’t do what we do for the community without your help!!!

The Mission’s Board of Directors has made the hard decision to temporarily close our homeless shelter.

Our hearts remain with those we serve, and this pause is necessary as we work through current challenges and plan the best path forward.

Please know that our Thrifty Warehouse will remain open at 409 Avent, Clinton, Oklahoma, and our kitchen will continue to serve meals to everyone in need at 300 S. 7th St., Clinton, Oklahoma.

We are grateful for our community’s patience, prayers, and ongoing support, and we will share updates as soon as they become available!!!
