Everglades Day 2026 was a huge success! Our hosts at Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge put on an awesome day of fun filled events for the whole family. was honored to be invited to teach kids and families about fishing, ethics and knot tying. We could never thank our Volunteers enough for sharing their day with our guests... Thank You everybody! We also wish to thank those families who have supported our Charity, thru In Memoriam donations. We honor those who support us in spirit. We also wish to give a huge thanks to Fish Florida, for supplying us with new rods and reels to hand out to our young guests. A special thanks to the Everglades Bassmasters Club, for the continued support, and to Scenko Sticks as well, thanks Alex. Spoiler alert, our next event is Jun 20th....

Setup has completed for Everglades Day! Wr are at the fishing pier, stop by with the family and say hi. We have everything beginning anglers need to catch their first fish.

Our first event of 2026 is part of Everglades Day! We are hosting Family Fishing at the pier, next to the boat ramps. Reel Fishing Charities supplies all of the bait, tackle, and gear. Guests only need to bring a smile to enjoy the day with our Volunteers. And we always welcome new volunteers at our events.

We love the support of our local fishing community! Thanks to everybody at The Big Reel Bassmasters for helping us teach the next generation about fishing and the outdoors. This is their 42nd annual Ghosts and Goblins tourney out of Clewiston Sunday October 19th. Contact Tim Celesti for more details.

Everybody at Reel Fishing Charities had a great day hosting our last event of 2025 at the Refuge! We enjoyed our day in the sun, teaching first time guests, and returning guests, out on the fishing pier. Thanks to everybody at Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge for allowing us to share our passion for the outdoors and fishing with the next generation. Also thanks to Fish Florida for making it possible for us to hand out new rods and reels to the kids who came out. We are also working on 2026 events, look for announcements after the first of the year.
