🌟 Congratulations, Landon Davidson! 🌟

The Clewiston Rotary Club is proud to recognize Landon Davidson as a Paul Harris Fellow in honor of his outstanding commitment to service.

For years, Landon has volunteered alongside Rotary members at the Sugar Festival BBQ, golf tournaments, and other community events, carrying on the legacy of his late grandfather, Gary Wilson—affectionately known as “Mr. Rotary.”

A straight-A student, National Honor Society member, active church volunteer, and dedicated community servant, Landon truly embodies Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self.

In a particularly meaningful moment, Landon’s grandmother presented him with his late grandfather’s Paul Harris Fellow pin and medal, symbolizing not only a cherished family legacy, but also the passing of Rotary’s values from one generation to the next.

Congratulations, Landon! We are grateful for your servant’s heart and look forward to seeing the impact you’ll continue to make in our community. 💙💛

Today, our club was proud to hold a forum for local candidates for Hendry County judge. We want to thank Jill Cabai, Antoinette “Toni” Peck and Judge Robert Ostrov for meeting with us and articulating their vision as county judge. Early voting begins in Hendry County Monday, August 3.

Monday was a day of celebration and new beginnings for our Rotary Club!

We proudly recognized our Rotarian of the Year, Traci Owens, for her outstanding dedication, leadership, and service. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

We also officially swore in our new President, Mali Gardner, along with our incoming board of directors. As we begin this new Rotary year, we’re excited to embrace our theme:

Together, we look forward to strengthening our community, serving others, and making a difference that will be felt for years to come.

Thanks to Stephanie Malally, a neuro health social worker with Lee Health, for speaking to our club about Alzheimer’s in our community. Rotary’s favorite luncheon of the year 💙

Today we had the privilege of celebrating some of our most hardworking, deserving, and community-focused seniors. Their dedication and heart for service truly stood out.

We were proud to award the Campbell E. Nall Scholarship, which has given to our community for the past 40 years, to three outstanding students, along with six “Service Above Self” scholarships—recognizing those who go above and beyond for others.

It was an honor to have these incredible young leaders with us today. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish ✨

It was great hearing from new Clewiston Tiger football Coach Pablo Sanchez about CHS’ upcoming football season. We are excited about the positive changes he is making to move the Tiger football program forward and look forward to supporting the program this fall! 🐅💛💙
