Day two and three of speakers and training what a wonderful turnout. A lot of hands-on training took place. A special thank you to all our sponsors who donated. Congratulations to Jeb Smith of the Florida Farm Bureau, who won the Kyle Patterson award. Thank you to all who attended and hope to see yall next year!

I would like to express my gratitude to Lanse Padgett, the owner of Padgett Ranch/Gorilla Ammunition, for graciously allowing us to use his facility for our FACIU monthly meeting yesterday in Indian River County. I also want to extend my thanks to the Florida Wildlife Commission for organizing excellent training, with special recognition to Lieutenant Urban and Investigator McDaniel and Investigator Saunders for their outstanding demonstrations on proper snake handling. Thank you to the Indian River County Sheriff office for hosting and thank you to everyone who attended!

The FACIU members appreciation lunch hosted by Seminole County Sheriffs Office was a fantastic event with an impressive turnout! Taking place at Horse Power Ranch, the gathering was graciously organized by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, which provided delicious food for everyone. Special thanks to Scott McElroy for offering such a beautiful venue. Undersheriff Ron Hopper delivered an inspiring speech filled with encouraging words, adding to the positive atmosphere. Events like this truly enhance appreciation and strengthen community bonds.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office successfully hosted a productive meeting featuring Jimmy Adams from their motor unit, who provided valuable training on Emoto's. Thank you to all those who attend attended.

Another successful meeting yall. Thank you Oceola County Sheriffs Office for hosting. A HUGE thank you to Silver Spurs Riding Club for allowing us to have our meeting there. They have so many beautiful bucking horses! And an also a HUGE thank you to Dave Bertossa from Bertossa Honey Farm for teaching about honey bees today. A lot was learned.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our FACIU family and friends. During this season, don’t forget to give thanks for all the many blessings we sometimes take for granted. May your day be filled with family, friends, fellowship, for some football, and great food. Just a thought to ponder- What if you only woke up tomorrow with what you gave thanks for today, what would you wake up with? From the air we breathe to the zzzz’s in a comfy bed and everything in between, be grateful and give thanks!!
