MISSING/STOLEN HORSE — COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE REQUESTED

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing American Paint Horse believed to have been stolen from its owner’s pasture in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Color/Pattern: Black and white Tovero stallion
Age: 2 years old
Foaling Date: May 18, 2024

Distinctive Features:White forelock and mane Black and white tail hair Pinto coat with distinctive black and white spots

🕒 Last Seen: August 2, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m.

It was great to see so many counties at our FACIU meeting. Special thanks to the Hardee County Agriculture Unit and Mounted Posse for hosting and providing lunch, as well as to the Farm Labor Investigators for their interesting presentation. Hope to yall at the next one.

Day two and three of speakers and training what a wonderful turnout. A lot of hands-on training took place. A special thank you to all our sponsors who donated. Congratulations to Jeb Smith of the Florida Farm Bureau, who won the Kyle Patterson award. Thank you to all who attended and hope to see yall next year!

I would like to express my gratitude to Lanse Padgett, the owner of Padgett Ranch/Gorilla Ammunition, for graciously allowing us to use his facility for our FACIU monthly meeting yesterday in Indian River County. I also want to extend my thanks to the Florida Wildlife Commission for organizing excellent training, with special recognition to Lieutenant Urban and Investigator McDaniel and Investigator Saunders for their outstanding demonstrations on proper snake handling. Thank you to the Indian River County Sheriff office for hosting and thank you to everyone who attended!
