Conquer Chiari, formally known as the C&S Patient Education Foundation, is a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to improving the experiences and outcomes of Chiari patients through education, awareness, and research.
The Conquer Chiari Walk Across America (CCWAA) is their annual fundraising and awareness event comprised of a series of local walks held on the 3rd and 4th Saturday in September. This year, our Bradenton walk will be held on Saturday, September 25th at Lakewood Ranch High School. In 2020, despite the pandemic, the event was held virtually at over 57 locations, involved nearly 2,000 participants, and raised over $200,000. I'm proud to say that, to date, Conquer Chiari has funded over $4.2 million in Chiari research.
