Meet Finn! He is a 6-to-9-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix. He weighs 20 pounds. He is essentially a tiny, furry retired man living in a world full of people who talk too loud.

Finn is not a "just add water" dog. He will not immediately love your cousin. He will not perform tricks for your friends. He is low-key spicy. He requires an estate manager (you) who understands boundaries.

🚫 The House Rules
Stranger Danger: Strangers are exhausting. When guests arrive, put Finn in his crate. He will come out on his own terms.

Quiet Only: He thrives in a calm house. No wild parties. No chaotic schedules.

Dog Friends: He is good with other dogs, and requests they share his low-key vibe. Think sitting on a porch in silence. No frat parties.

Feline Roommates: He lives with cats. He enjoys their company. One did beat him up once. Please do not bring this up to him. It is a sore subject.

Meet Misty, the fluffiest little cloud looking for her forever family! 🌟
Meet Misty! 🐾

This sweet white-and-cream bundle of joy was born on March 19, 2026, and recently checked into The Rescue Inn with two of her siblings. Misty came from an accidental litter, but her biological mama is already scheduled to be spayed so this won't happen again.

Misty is a true, one-of-a-kind mixed breed. Her dad is a smaller, scruffy terrier mix, and her mom is an 18-month-old, 65-pound mixed breed who looks like a blend of Carolina Dog, terrier, and maybe a little Border Collie. Because of this unique genetic cocktail, Misty’s ultimate adult size is a fun surprise, though she will likely grow into a medium-to-large girl. She has a happy, playful personality and is ready to bring a lifetime of love and laughter to your home.

A routine patrol on a rural road by our friends at the Holmes County Dog Warden's Department and Adoption Center led to the discovery of four tiny suspects: Sarah and her accomplices (Duke, Dennis, and Trinity). They were booked at The Rescue Inn for the crime of being unconditionally lovable.
