The results are clear: 10 books can spark measurable gains in early literacy, vocabulary, and family reading routines, with the greatest impact appearing in communities facing the highest barriers. Research from the world’s largest study of shared book reading affirms that children enrolled in the Imagination Library in the US were 11 times more likely to be interested in books compared to children not in the program.
