We’re busy prepping for our upcoming fundraiser and are so thrilled to announce three incredible raffle items up for grabs! Tickets are just $2 each, with the live drawing taking place on October 17th—and the best part is you don’t have to be present to win. We’ll have tons of fun for the family, including games, a bounce house, a dunk tank, and the return of our firefighter hose-off with neighboring departments joining in. Keep an eye on your mailbox for details if you're in our district, or grab your tickets online at www.Libertychapelvfd.org. Join us for a day of community, delicious food, and a live auction, rain or shine; we can’t wait to see you there! 🎟️🚒🍔✨

Even though we've had about an inch of rain lately, the burn ban is still in effect. Please don't burn any brush piles just yet. Hopefully, we'll get some more rain soon.

This past weekend, our team responded to a grass fire that escalated into a structure fire. Upon arrival, we identified a smoldering burn barrel as the ignition source, a completely destroyed outbuilding shed, and a fully engulfed horse trailer being utilized for storage. Our crews promptly initiated an aggressive attack to prevent the fire from extending to adjacent pastures. Thank you Keene Fire Rescue for the assistance on scene and Grandview Volunteer Fire Department and Cleburne Fire Department were disregarded once the fire was brought under control.
