We serve around 100+ students free lunch daily, along with after-school snacks, all while giving them a space to be safe & accepted. We wanted to create a safe place for the youngest to the oldest, richest, or poorest to walk in and instantly feel accepted. themselves. Our heart is to offer anyone who steps inside a comfortable place where they can read a book or play board games, enjoy a free cup of coffee, paint a picture on canvas, or maybe just relax, talk with friends, or write in their journal. It was so much fun and yummy too!
Thank you to Elaine for bringing the last Bible study of the school year, so good! Jesus holds our hand and NEVER LEAVES US!
Boy I told myself that I would not cry this year because it is only for the summer…. BUT yeppers I cried! I already miss ALL of them!
