Today, on National Siblings Day, we hold space for a group whose grief is often unseen… bereaved siblings.

For every baby or child who dies, there are brothers and sisters whose world changes forever too.

They may not always have the words.
They may grieve quietly.
They may carry confusion, sadness, and questions that are hard to answer.

But their grief matters.

At 4Louis, we recognise that sibling loss is lifelong. It deserves acknowledgement, support, and understanding.

To every bereaved sibling, your love is real, your bond is unbreakable, and your feelings are valid 💛

Today you would be 6, a kindergartner. Full of life, love and laughter- we could only imagine what your personality would be like and what you would look like. We hold comfort in knowing you are safe in His arms, until we see you and hold you again. We wish you a beautiful heavenly 6th birthday, Isla. We are one year closer to seeing you again💕

Our donors have allowed us to continue into our second year of supporting grieving families, reaching even more this year! We have shopped for and delivered all Christmas gifts to 39 siblings to babies that have passed away in 2025, for a total of 21 families and 21 keepsake ornaments delivered as well. We are so grateful for everyone’s support, that has allowed us to continue our mission of easing emotional and financial burden for parents, after such a devastating loss.

Whether you’re missing your baby in quiet moments or feeling overwhelmed by the world carrying on around you, please know there is no right way to move through this time of year.

You’re not failing. You’re grieving,and that is love.

If you need a softer Christmas, a quieter space, or a moment to breathe, that is absolutely okay.

We’re thinking of every family holding their child in their heart this season. 💫

Isla’s Christmas Wish Foundation’s 2nd Annual Fundraiser, held on 10/3 at Parker's Hilltop Brewery, was an evening filled with love, laughter and giving. We raised over 16k for this fundraiser, including $2,750 in sponsorships!

A huge thank you to all that attended and/or donated to ensure we can assist even more families this Christmas, while they grieve the recent loss of their baby. Your donations, kind words and presence at our event, is a beautiful reminder of the compassion that you all have 🙏
