CHAPEL CATCH-UP!

We’ve had such a wonderful start to chapel this school year! We want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to each of our chapel guests who have taken the time to come pour into our students.

🌟 Week 1 – Laura Percy | First Methodist Church
Mrs. Laura played a fun game with our students and talked about the importance of including others, even when they may be different from us. She shared the story of Jesus calling Matthew to be His disciple from Matthew 9:9–13, reminding our students that Jesus loves and welcomes everyone.

🌟 Week 2 – Karen Watkins | West End Baptist Church
Mrs. Karen shared with our students about how God uses imperfect people to do great things! What a wonderful reminder that God is continually working in each of our lives.

🌟 Week 3 – Chris Ferguson | Bell Lane Church
Mr. Chris had some fun with the kids by playing “Two Truths and a Lie.” He used the game to teach an important lesson about truthfulness and how even the “little white lies” matter.

We are so thankful for each person who has already helped make chapel special this year! Thank you for investing in our students, sharing God’s Word with them, and helping us encourage them to grow in their faith.

The Great Reading Race is Complete!

We are so proud of our LCA students who participated in our Summer Reading Program!

These students spent their summer reading, learning, and growing—and we loved getting to celebrate their hard work! ❤️

Every book opened is another opportunity to learn something new, strengthen reading skills, and grow a love for reading that can last a lifetime.

Congratulations to all of our readers! Keep reading, keep learning, and keep growing!

We have officially finished our second week of school! 💙🦁 We have been SO busy, and it has been a wonderful start to the school year!

Before school began, our teachers returned and renewed their CPR certifications. We also held a special Prayer Walk, where we prayed over our students, teachers, classrooms, and the school year ahead.

We have loved seeing everyone’s smiling faces back at LCA! Here are a few snapshots from our first two weeks.

We are looking forward to a great year at Liberty Christian Academy!

Join us for a Prayer Walk at Liberty Christian Academy on Tuesday, August 4, from 3:30–4:00 PM.

We’ll meet promptly at 3:30 PM in the LCA lunchroom before walking through the school together as we pray over our students, teachers, staff, and the upcoming school year.
