🐾 When Alice first arrived, she was tiny, painfully thin, and battling through illness. She didn't have much to give except a quiet hope that things would get better... and did they ever!

With proper medical care, endless nourishing meals, and a whole lotta love, that frail little shadow transformed right before our eyes. Her coat turned sleek and shiny, her bright eyes found their spark, and buried beneath all that sickness was an absolute firecracker waiting to burst out.

Today, Alice isn’t just surviving, she’s thriving, zoomie-ing, and officially adopted!

She found the absolute perfect , complete with a furry buddy who has the stamina to match her brand-new, joyful energy. The two of them have already hit the ground running, tearing up the yard and proving that she’s left her sickly past completely in the dust.

From fragile and hurting to fast, fearless, and deeply loved. Happy life, sweet Alice!

From wandering the river trails to ruling the living room, Eddie has officially been adopted! 🎉💜

Not too long ago, Eddie was just trying to get by, surviving day to day with nothing but his scrappy charm and that unmistakable, hilarious toothy underbite. Life out there was tough, but Eddie’s spirit never got the memo. Every time he flashed that crooked little grin, you couldn’t help but root for him.

Now, those rough days are completely in the rearview mirror. Eddie caught the eye, and the whole heart, of a wonderful Mama who saw that glorious smile and knew instantly that he was meant to be hers.

Happy trails, Eddie. You hit the jackpot, buddy... and so did your Mama. 🥹🐾

BOW WOW DAYS is a free and pet-friendly festival for pets and their people! With events including Off to the Races (Wiener Dogs and Chihuahuas) and a PAW Pageant including a Talent and Costume Contest, it's sure to be a fun day!

Meet Eddie! 🐾🎉 Eddie is a sweet, friendly, playful fellow who gets along with other dogs and is house trained. He is up to date on shots, neutered and recently had surgery to repair dual cherry eyes but has fully recovered. He's around 3 yrs old and 25 lbs.

He is so wonderfully sweet and cuddly - he's just looking for the right home to settle down in.

Hi everyone,

We are excited to have an event on Saturday the 26th, which coincides with Ginessa taking over Bow Camp Bow Wow kennel next month. We will all be there to promote both the kennel and the rescue.
Bow Wow Days Event will take pace on Sept 26th 9am-1pm
Orangevale Community Park, 7115 Filbert Ave, Orangevale (Oak and Filbert).

We would like to invite all our adopters, and supporters to come out and say hi to our team. We are always looking for foster homes and new volunteers as well as new families to adopt our dogs. We hope we will see you there.

Spitfire is officially available for adoption! 🎉🐾 She has just one more week on her leg wrap (hopefully!), although it doesn't matter as she runs around like its not even there!

She's around 1 year old, 9 lbs, pom/chi mix, cuddly, VERY playful and puppy-like, and loves kids and other dogs.

Meet Cha Cha: The Sweet, Snack-Loving Chihuahua! 🐾✨

Say hello to Cha Cha, an adorable 3-year-old Chihuahua who is ready to waddle right into your heart (and maybe negotiate a healthy snack menu with you)!

Weighing in at 18 pounds, Cha Cha is a bit of a robust little burrito who is currently on a gentle weight-loss journey to get back into tip-top shape (aren't we all). But don't worry, her extra fluff just means there is more of her to love! She can be timid with new people and needs slow introductions with other dogs.

The Cha Cha Rundown:

✅Breed & Size: Pure charm, 100% Chihuahua, and currently sitting at a cozy 18 lbs.
📆Age: 3 years old (prime age for both snuggles and strolls!).
🎭Personality: Affectionate, snuggle-obsessed, and a big fan of her daily walks.
🙏House Manners: Seems to be fully potty trained and already knows how to use a doggy door like a pro! 🚪🐕
👩‍👧Social Skills: Has been fantastic with kids so far and is currently living in foster care with several other dogs, proving she's a great little roommate.
