Marty Madden's son, Russell, didn't wear the uniform long. His life was cut short in Afghanistan in 2010. Years later, his father took the fight to honor him home to Bellevue.

This Memorial Day, for the first time, Bellevue's main street is adorned with banners of the fallen — two dozen posts memorializing service members from the community.

Kicking off The Murph at EVO Fit in Maineville. Thank you to EVO, the sponsors, donors and participants for your continued support so that we can continue our mission.

As of today, we’ve shipped 38,600 care packages to our troops serving in harms way. Without all of you, this would not be possible. These care packages are reminders from home that they are not forgotten. We send cards, letters and art work from students in these care packages. Your donations are always welcome and that includes those priceless notes of encouragement which means more than you can imagine.

Good luck to those participating in this tough workout.
