This is what AfriFest is really about. Not just the food, the music, or the vendors, but the faces. The friends who reconnected, the strangers who became family for a day, the kids running around free and joyful. AfriFest brings our community together, and that connection is exactly what APNET stands for.

Grateful to have welcomed ChiChi Wembira to AfriFest for the first time this year. Her mbira performance filled the park with the sound of the Zim piano and reminded us why we do this. Thank you for sharing your gift with our community, Chichi.
