Did you know?
Some men said they bought because family members did too--in a report on s3x buying behaviours.
Some beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours are passed down without ever being questioned.
Sometimes it's a comment, joke, a lesson about what it means to "be a man," or a message about girls/women, power, entitlement, or s3x.
Some people grow up hearing these messages so they begin to feel normal. But not everything we inherit serves us.
Breaking generational cycles often begins with a simple realization: "This is what I learned... but it doesn't have to continue."
It can look like:
🛑 challenging a harmful "normal"
🗣️ having conversations previous generations never had
🫶 choosing accountability where silence once existed
❤️🩹 repairing harm instead of repeating it
🤝 seeking support so the next generation inherits something better
This work often happens quietly, slowly and imperfectly.
One generation can pass down harm, but one generation can stop it. And build something better.
