WARMING CENTERS DURING EXTREME WEATHER IN CARMEL:

Carmel Fire Department and area churches are offering access for those in need during extreme cold weather. The designated centers will be open during standard business hours, allowing those in need to warm up for a short period of time and make arrangements for other services and accommodations. Please see the list below. (This will be updated as more are needed if necessary.)

As we reflect on Secret Families Day last weekend, we’re filled with gratitude. So many people came together to make the day meaningful and impactful—but it simply would not have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors.

🎄 Wasson Nursery generously provided live Christmas trees for the 12th year so families who wanted one could experience that special holiday tradition.
🛒 Meijer of Westfield went above and beyond—opening their doors early, keeping our volunteers fueled with snacks, dedicating cashiers for our shoppers, and providing a generous cash donation each year.
🏠 CrossRoads Church at Westfield quite literally handed us the keys, allowing us to fully transform their space into our wrapping and delivery headquarters.
✨ Anchor Health Chiropractic and their amazing clients donated and assembled personal care bags and cleaning supplies, ensuring families received essential items along with their gifts.

We are grateful for these organizations and the way they show up for our neighbors in need. Thank you for making Christmas brighter for so many families.

Today was Secret Families Day, and if the weather thought it could slow us down . . . well, it clearly forgot one detail: we were on a mission from God! 😎

Despite the white stuff, over 500 AMAZING volunteers from every corner of our county showed up with willing hands and a whole lot of joy. This was our largest Secret Families Day yet, and it happened because people chose to sacrificially give their time and resources to their fellow neighbors.

To our DONORS — thank you for trusting this mission and giving so generously. Every dollar turned into hope, dignity and Christmas joy for local families. You made this day possible. To our VOLUNTEERS — thank you for braving the elements to shop, wrap and deliver gifts. You didn’t just deliver presents . . . you delivered a reminder that our neighbors are not alone. We are filled with gratitude and so proud of this community.

AND WE’RE OFF! Secret Families Day has begun and we already have our first shoppers checked out! A record 550 volunteers are out bright and early to shop, wrap and deliver presents to their Hamilton County neighbors!
