The Chiefland Woman’s Club would like to extend our sincere gratitude to each and every sponsor, volunteer, vendor, and supporter who helped make the 72nd Annual Chiefland Watermelon Festival a tremendous success.
This event would not have been possible without the dedication and generosity of so many individuals and organizations throughout our community.
A special thank you to Tillis Melons and Gibson Select for generously providing the delicious watermelons enjoyed by attendees. We are also grateful to the Chiefland First Baptist Church Men’s Group for their hard work cutting and serving the melons throughout the festival. Thank you to Jones Plumbing for donating the portable restrooms and to Waste Pro Management for donating the dumpster services that helped keep our event running smoothly.
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the City of Chiefland Police Department for their assistance in safely navigating and managing the roads. Your dedication to our community and support of this event are greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all of our vendors who participated and helped create a fun and memorable experience for everyone who attended. We also had a special participant this year as the State of Florida’s America 250 Museum Exhibit.
Your support, time, and commitment helped make this year’s festival a wonderful success. We are proud to be part of such a caring and supportive community and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
With heartfelt appreciation,
Chiefland Woman’s Club 🍉💚
