I have shut down my booth at the Chiefland Flea Market. The new owner only cares about money. He told me that countless times, before he told me I probably was not physically capable having a booth. I had been there almost 7 years. Yes I was having a tough time physically. But he looked at the ceiling and told me point blank he could make more money if he split my booth up. Knowing good and well I could not operate out of the tiny space he wanted me to have. On top of that when I agreed to it he raised my rent so it was not profitable. He is not what people think. He claims to be for Veterans. I am a Veteran. Disabled at that. This man is not for the community. He is for the dollar no matter the consequences. Some may say that is Capitalism. It is not close. Capitalism empowers those that are successful to donate to those that are not. He is a leach sucking the blood out of those that can't even see it. Sorry. He made it so uncomfortable for me to go to the Market I quit going. With my health issues, I can't handle the stress he put on me. Good luck.
