Not every great day downtown ends the same way. Sometimes it starts with a morning coffee, sometimes it’s a refreshing juice in the afternoon, and sometimes it ends with a drink shared with friends.

These are a few of the places we’ve stopped to sip so far this summer, each one adding something different to a day spent exploring Downtown Chico. Whether you’re grabbing your go-to order or trying somewhere new, every stop is another chance to slow down, connect, and support the businesses that make our downtown so special.

The next time you’re heading downtown, take advantage of two free hours in any of our six public parking lots and find your new favorite beverage downtown!

We’ve been making our way through some of our favorite shops this summer, popping in, taking our time, and finding those little things that make each place feel special. From long-time staples to newer stops, every visit is a chance to connect with the people behind the storefronts and be part of what keeps Downtown Chico moving.

We know... downloading a new app isn't exactly anyone's idea of a fun afternoon. 😅

The good news? You only have to set it up once.

This guide walks you through the process from downloading the app to starting your free parking session. Once you're set up, checking in for your next visit only takes a few taps.

Just claim your free two-hour parking session using the Passport Parking app or the kiosk in any participating public lot.

Park & Go is part of the Be Our Guest campaign, a partnership between the City of Chico and the PBID. The free two-hour parking program is currently scheduled to run through September.
